Changes, they are a comin
Dec 29 2007
Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. I’ve been busy as always and have put up a new character painting in the Digital Section. This is the first painting that I’ve done in Photoshop that is approaching the quality and feel of my oil work. As time is always at a premium these days, I will probably be doing a few more digital paintings. They are easier and less fussy to work on than oils. Not to say I won’t be picking up my oils again. I need paintings to hang on my walls (as do you, so email me and commission your own painting today!). But for smaller more illustration-y type work I think the photoshop workflow will be good for me.
In other news, I did ‘finish’ that web framework, however, while building it I became enamored with CakePHP. Its an amazing web application framework that accomplishes everything I set out to do with my framework. Although my framework is complete enough to use, I won’t be releasing it. Instead I suggest you check out cakePHP, I am and I’m loving it. With that said the redesign is still happening and is underway. I’m hoping to get it done sooner than later, but you’ll find it here when it happens that’s for sure.
